The entire PBC team & our existing clients participated wholeheartedly in the Health Camp jointly organized by Paharpur Business Centre & Software Technology Incubator Park & Quest Diagnostics, at PBC, on 8th & 9th July 2009.
Total 140 persons attended this camp and got their health check-up done in these two days. 55 persons also availed the counselling sessions from Nutritionist, who were present from Quest Diagnostics.
The response from PBC Clients was very encouraging and 25 of them participated in the initiative. They were very appreciative of this initiative on our part.
PBC Clients also suggested that if space is available PBC should extend Gym facilities and would be interested in availing this as paid service too, as they hardly get time otherwise to go to gyms elsewhere. This arrangement could be very convenient as they will be able to take out time from their busy work schedule to work out within the work place.
Quest Diagnostics will send out a detailed report on the results of the programme, however as per the preliminary reports most of the PBC team members (executive and above) and clients were in Overweight category, BP was high, whereas our housekeeping crew members were underweight & BP low, Security team were mostly fit & healthy.
The team from Quest Diagnostics appreciated the initiative taken by PBC.
