Mr. Kamal Meattle has more than seventeen years of real estate experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from St Joseph’s College, North Point, Darjeeling and a Masters degree in Management from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA. In 2007, he was awarded the MIT Distinguished Alumni Award and a Life Time Achievement award by St Joseph’s College. He holds a number of international patents relating to the packaging industry.Kamal has been a member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, & Chairman of the Northern Region, All India Council for Technical Education. He is involved in various social activities and has successfully filed PIL’s in court relating to environmental issues. Currently, he is focusing on the issue of global warming and taking up connected issues with Corporate and Government, to find solutions.
In 1990, he conceived Paharpur Business Centre & Software Technology Incubator Park (PBC-STIP) in New Delhi. PBC-STIP is widely recognized as the leading provider of office facilities and 28 support services to corporate operating in NCR Delhi.
He is now developing a $263 million facility, Haryana Technology Park known as GreenSpacesTM, a notified SEZ on NH2, 6 kms from Delhi. It is a partnership with General Electric, Carrier, Polycom, Bharti-Airtel and others. It will have World-class amenities like heliport, recreation centers, food courts, daycare centers, medical sick bay, gym & health club, meditation center, overnight residential rooms, travel agencies, banks, educational facilities and ample parking space for over 1,670 vehicles.
